Boo - ya

I trained my dog... yeahhhhhhh. His name is Chance he is a boxer-pitbull and is 4 years old. I decided if I was going to teach my dogs any tricks, I better do it now before he gets to old! So far, I have taught him sit and shake hands. My brother taught him fetch, go outside, and go to bed.
To teach my dogs sit, it took about 5 days, and to teach Chance shake... 1 day! Boo - ya! I've got a smart doggie :)
How? I'm glad you asked!
Things you will need:

• treats. I used cut- up crackers, kibble, peanut butter covered kibble (he loves peanut butter) and cut - up dog biscuits. You can use whatever your dog enjoys to eat.
• a dog at least 8 weeks or older ;)
• a calm, relaxed, non-distracting area. 
• PATIENCE... LIKE OMAGAH. 

Sit command:

1. I got Chance in the kitchen.
2. Waited for him to naturally sit.
3. Said: "good boy"
4. Gave him a treat.
5. Held the treat in my hand and lead it to the ground to get him to stand.
6. I told Chance "sit" in a stern voice.
7. Pushed his butt down.
8. Said: "good boy."
9. Gave him a treat.
10. Repeat.
11. Eventually he/she will get to the point where he does not need a butt- push and will do it out of obedience.
12. Keep doing this for several days (or until he gets it) and make sure he has mastered this before you move on.

Shake Command

1. Got Chance in the living room.
2. Put him in the sit position. 
3. Said "shake."
4. Grabbed his paw.
5. Said "good boy."
6. Gave him a treat.
7. After grabbing his paw enough times, I would gently tap/pull the back of his paw so he would raise it.
8. Praise + treat.
9. Eventually he would ever so slightly raise his paw off the ground.
10. I grabbed it.
11. Praise + treat. 
12. After some time, he would raise his arm and paw off the ground when he saw my hand and heard "shake"

And voila! 

TIPS: 

• If your dog is more stubborn than your patience will go give him a break and try again later.
• Don't practice for to long. He will get sick on dog treats plus if he is not being responsive, giving him/her a break will give her time to relax and calm down thus creating better results.
• Don't be to harsh on your dog. Be stern, but don't yell. And under no circumstance... result to any physical abuse. It is proven that positive reinforcement will result in quicker obedience.

Hey There Delilah

Hey.... Sorry for the length of time that has passed that we have not written. I AM SORRY! Don't worry, this is not the end of this blog. A New Edition

Heyeyeyeyeyey! This is Herhsey Kisses AND Cookie Monster! We are not physically together, but we are Skyping right now* (*= Justin Bieber song on the album BELIEVE)... sorry... kind of obbsessed:) Anyway, we thought it would be cool if we added a new part to our blog. Hey guys its Cookie Monster again! Ok I really apologize for not posting anything lately. I got a new Toshiba laptop for christmas  so I can post things again! Sadly ( not so sad actually) the dell was on its last limb and isn't mine to worry about I basically only use it when my Skype wont work. So as Hershey Kisses told you guys on the 4th or January 2013 will be my 3 month anniversary with Adam! Longest and Best relationship I've ever had. So if yall could please help me out. Adam's birthday is on the 20th of January and I can't think of anything to get him. So if yall could comment something you would recommend keep the price range around lets say $20-$40. Alrighty guys talk to my little montsers (you guys) later! I love yall! <3

Hey chicas, it's Hershey Kisses... sorry we haven't been on in a while...  In the time that has passed, Cookie Monster has been sick, and now I'm sick :/ ... yes... over Christmas break... :/ oh well, it could always be worse. So I just want to tell y'all that this blog is not dead and we will continue to post. So, I'll just catch y'all up on some stuff:

- Jan. 4 2013 it will be her "3-month-anniversary" with her boo, Adam.
- She got a bunch of blonde highlights with a touch of pink.
- She has declared me her "sister" :)

         Hey guys! It's Cookie Monster. I'm sorry I haven't gotten to post anything lately--- computer crashed. Well, we have some catching up to do. I broke up with Adam and went out with a guy named Hunter. . . well that didn't work out so I dumped him after 2 days. Adam found out after school and asked me back out and said he was sorry for whatever he did. So we are back together :) We had an in school basketball game so he and I went together and I was watching the game and he said: "Babe?" I said "Yea?" He said " Sunni, will you marry me?" I started to cry- it was so sweet and everyone and everything around us didn't even matter at all! That moment was so magical :) This boy really loves me. For once, I know that a guy is truly in love with me! I am so blessed to have this boy as my boyfriend.

Reunited!

       Hey there ma pepz. This is Hershey Kisses. . . once again. Don't worry - - - I'll get Cookie Monster to make a post soon.
      Yeah, so as the title says. . . WE ARE REUNITED!!!!!!!! Yay! Cookie Monster & I live in different towns but within the same state . . . so we don't get to see each other all the time . . . but we call/text/Skype like . . . everyday.
       So it's about 2 in the morning . . . shhh . . . don't tell daddy. Cookie Monster decided to fall asleep on me at about midnight. . . but don't worry . . . I got revenge! Turns out, there were markers in my room, so I waited until she fell asleep and drew all over her! On her back because that part of her wasn't covered up by her shirt, I drew on her hands and wrist, and a little something on her ankle. . . I wanted to draw a mustache on her face, but I thought that would be going a little to far. I can't wait for her to wake up later and see her face. . . hopefully she won't be angry. . . oh well. Her fault for
1) falling asleep and leaving me alone.
and
2) making the rookie mistake of falling asleep with me awake with markers.
Silly girl . . .

     Anyway, so today we went out to eat at a Mexican restaurant (Chuy's), went to Publix (we got to ride in the buggy), got a bunch of cookie stuff, ate cookie doe, made videos, went to Walmart (also rode in the buggy), got a Christ-mas movie (we are watching that tomorrow[we got How the Grinch Stole Christmas.])

     Tomorrow (technically today) we are going to get a Christmas tree, go shopping, decorate the tree, and watch How the Grinch Stole Christmas!

      Then on Sunday, we are going to church (Church of the Highlands), and then going out to eat .  . . then sadly our weekend begins to come an end :(

      Well, I better get some sleep . . . Cookie Monster can and will ware you out!
Yeah, so say your prayers, give thanks to God for all your blessings, and goodnight (well . . . I guess I should say "good morning") :P
